Material Handling Equipment Technician/Foklift Mechanic

Job Overview Here is a wonderful opportunity to join our team in Albany as Material Handling Equipment Technician.Job duties include:- Conducting routine and preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.- Diagnosing and repairing equipment malfunctions, including mechanical and electrical issues. - Inspecting and testing equipment to ensure it is in good working order.- Maintaining accurate records of equipment condition and maintenance performed.- Recommending necessary repairs or replacements to management. - Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.- Communicating effectively with team members and management about equipment status and needs. - Keeping the work area clean and organized to facilitate efficient operations. Experience required in the following:- DC voltage- Low voltage AC- Hydraulic pressures and fittings- How to change hoses and adjust chain tension- Brake shoe replacement- Maintenance on class 1 and 2 lifts Preferred experience:- Heavy equipment- Skid steer- Excavator Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid sick time • Paid time off • Vision insurance Work Location: In person
