Assistant United States Attorney

Applicants must possess a J.D. degree from an accredited law school and be an active member in good standing of the bar of a State, Territory, or the District of Columbia. The successful candidate must possess civil litigation experience that includes responsibility for discovery, trial and appeals, superior writing skills, good judgment, knowledge of civil practice and procedures, excellent communication and courtroom skills, and strong interpersonal skills. In addition, applicants must exhibit the ability to work in a supportive and professional manner with other attorneys, paralegals, support staff and client agencies. The selected candidate must be or must be willing and able to become within twelve months of appointment, an active member of the Oklahoma State Bar. Required Qualifications: Applicants must possess a J.D. Degree and be an active member of the bar (any U.S. jurisdiction). United States citizenship is required.
