Job Description
FOR THE GS-7: For the below grades: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience assisting with survey work to identify and evaluate hazardous and nonhazardous industrial work operations and conditions and to recommend corrective procedures where the potential for injury or property damage exists. FOR THE GS-09: For the below grades: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience conducting safety and occupational health surveys. Experience recommending measures to eliminate or control hazardous practices. Experience assisting with the investigation of mishaps. FOR THE GS-11: For the below grades: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying comprehensive knowledge of weapons and explosives safety practices in order to determine if explosives safety programs and standards are adequate and compatible with Federal and Navy standards and regulations. Experience applying knowledge of research techniques in order to conduct studies of technical explosives safety programs. Experience applying knowledge of safety and occupational health principles, practices and procedures, body of laws, regulations and precedent decisions applicable to explosive safety associated submarine maintenance and repair, transportation, storage and use of high explosives and flammable and toxic gases.
