The Podcast Assistant supports the podcast team at The Everygirl, working closely with the Podcast Host and production partners on idea generation, episode production, promotion, and audience growth. This role plays a key part in ensuring each episode is thoughtfully produced, strategically marketed, and seamlessly published across platforms. The position requires strong organization, creativity, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Responsibilities • Manage, compose, and upload all podcast content to the website for each episode. • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies for audience growth and execute marketing campaigns. • Schedule and coordinate guest interviews—both in-person and remote—providing guests with necessary information and guidelines to ensure a smooth experience. • Upload and schedule each episode on Acast. • Participate in interviews, make real-time edits, and ensure audio quality and clarity. • Gather and organize audio files in Google Drive. • Collect data from sources such as site posts and marketing materials. • Contribute to show development through brainstorming and suggesting interview questions. • Collaborate with the sales and partnerships team to support podcast advertising and campaign deliverables into episodes and promotional materials. • Pitch episode ideas, guests, and potential brand partners, and manage outreach to talent, publicists, and collaborators. Hours Part-time: Averaging 15-20 hours per week, with flexibility during peak periods. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, media, or a related field, or equivalent expertise demonstrated through relevant work experience. • 1+ year of experience in media, podcasting, or a related field. • Proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with a remote team. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and constructive feedback. • Strong writing and editing skills with attention to grammar, voice, tone, and accuracy. • Solid understanding of The Everygirl’s brand, content focus, and audience. • Experience in digital media, audio production, or content creation. • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. • Independent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. • Familiarity with social media platforms and podcast distribution channels. Preferred Qualifications • Experience in podcast production, audio editing, or digital media. • Proficiency in Google Workspace and Slack. • Proficiency in Asana or other similar project management platforms. • Experience with podcast hosting platforms such as Acast or similar. • Understanding of analy
