Investigator- Affirmative Civil Enforcement (ACE)

GS-12: To be eligible at the GS-12 level you must meet the following condition as defined below: Specialized Experience. Specialized experience One full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in Federal service performing the following types of duties: Developing or participating in the development of investigative plans; conducting investigations; coordinating and/or conducting surveillance of suspects with appropriate law enforcement/investigative agencies; interviewing suspects and witnesses; identifying, analyzing, processing physical evidence; and preparing reports on criminal or civil investigations which include significant findings, conclusions, and recommendations for additional investigative actions. Career Transition Assistance Plan (CTAP)-The CTAP provides eligible surplus and displaced competitive service employees in the Department of Justice with selection priority over other candidates for competitive service vacancies.
