Job Description
GS-11: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of GS-09 experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying industrial hygiene concepts, principles, and practices carrying out all industrial hygiene programs. Experience assisting in the devising of control measures for ventilation, shielding, material, substitution, and change in work procedures. Experience assisting in the evaluation occupational health hazards to include those for which the nature and extent of hazards is not completely understood. Experience drafting industrial hygiene policy and guidance for occupational health and safety professionals. GS-12: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of GS-11 experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying industrial hygiene concepts, principles, and practices carrying out all industrial hygiene programs for a command. Experience with federal, state, Department of Defense (DoD), and department of the Navy (DON) occupational health laws, policies, regulations, guidelines, methodologies, and objectives in the development and implementation of a region-wide industrial hygiene program. Experience devising control measures for ventilation, shielding, material, substitution, and change in work procedures. Experience providing consultation and advice to activities on occupational health problems and concerns, when requested. Experience drafting industrial hygiene policy and guidance for occupational health and safety professionals.
