Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-04 level in Federal Service. Specialized experience for this position includes: (1) communicating with clients, respondents, customers, and/or coworkers in person and/or by telephone, (2) using a device such as a smart phone, tablet, or computer/laptop (3) completing work/personal tasks in a timely manner. OR 4 years of education above high school. Equivalent combinations of education and experience are qualifying for all grade levels for which both education and experience are acceptable. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). CTAP applicants MUST submit the following documents: A copy of your RIF separation notice; notice of proposed removal for declining a directed geographic relocation outside of the local commuting area; a Certificate of Expected Separation (CES); or certification that you are in a surplus organization or occupation (this could be a position abolishment letter, a notice of eligibility for discontinued service retirement, or similar notice).
