This role is needed for a PSM and DoD regulated energetic materials and explosives manufacturing operation supporting defense and aerospace customers and is responsible for performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and control systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. In this role, the essential functions are: Perform troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of primarily mechanical systems, including rotating equipment, gearboxes, pumps, and production machinery Diagnose and repair electrical systems up to 480V, including motors, starters, VFDs, and field wiring, supporting safe and reliable equipment operation Support basic controls and PLC troubleshooting with guidance, including identifying faults, assisting with I/O checks, and coordinating with external controls resources Execute preventive and predictive maintenance activities generated from the CMMS, ensuring equipment reliability and minimizing unplanned downtime Install, align, and commission new equipment and components, ensuring proper mechanical integrity and integration with existing systems Maintain and repair facility utilities and infrastructure, including compressed air, HVAC, boilers, plumbing, and general building systems Follow and enforce all safety procedures, including lock-out/tag-out, explosive-handling protocols, and PPE requirements in a high-hazard environment Collaborate with production and engineering teams to troubleshoot issues in real time, including working on equipment during active operations when required If your experience aligns with our basic qualifications and you are inspired by our mission, we’d like to connect.
