Job Description

You must meet the following SCREEN-OUT(S) required for this position For WG-11 Ability to perform Maintenance Mechanic duties and responsibilities without more than normal supervision to include: Independently applying a variety of trade practices (e.g., electrical, pipefitting, plumbing, HVAC repair) to plan, layout and complete the installation, modification, and repair of facility equipment; Performing planned, preventative, and corrective maintenance on electronic and Direct Digital Controls (DDCs) including but not limited to: electronic dampers, electronic valves, variable speed drives, and variable air volume systems. Operating, maintaining, replacing, and troubleshooting variable frequency drives (VFD). Testing electrical circuits or components for continuity, using electrical test equipment For WG-10 Ability to perform Maintenance Mechanic duties and responsibilities without more than normal supervision to include: Applying a variety of trade practices (e.g., electrical, pipefitting, plumbing, HVAC repair) to plan, layout and complete the installation, modification, and repair of facility equipment with minimal assistance. Troubleshooting, repairing, and installing a variety of cooling and heating systems with minimal assistance. Troubleshooting, repairing, and installing electrical circuits, controls and components with minimal assistance.
