ABOUT THIS ROLE As a Mechanical Lab Engineer at LVT, you will sit at the intersection of design and reality. You will be the primary steward of our Mechanical Lab, ensuring our prototyping environment is optimized for rapid innovation. Working under the guidance of senior engineers, you will apply foundational engineering principles to support prototype builds, execute critical testing, and manage sustaining engineering activities. This is a high-impact role for a hands-on problem solver who is ready to transition from conceptual CAD designs to tangible, field-ready hardware. This role is based in-office out of our facility in Spanish Fork, Utah, to facilitate daily lab management and physical hardware collaboration. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Lab Stewardship: Manage day-to-day operations of the Mechanical Lab, including equipment maintenance, organization, and 3D printer fleet management. Prototype Assembly: Lead and support the physical build-out of prototype units, ensuring components are integrated correctly and providing feedback on "design for assembly." Rigorous Testing: Execute standardized mechanical tests and basic analysis to validate sub-system performance against established requirements. Sustaining Engineering: Support ongoing product improvements by debugging simple mechanical issues and documenting design iterations. CAD Documentation: Utilize 3D modeling software to design small features, promote Proof of Concepts (POCs), and maintain accurate engineer
