Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Must have trip-leading experience in adventure-based recreation programming; successfully planning, organizing, and leading outdoor recreation programs for groups; guiding and teaching participants specialized skills and techniques across various sports; and practically applying risk management procedures to assess and mitigate environmental and operational hazards in remote outdoor settings. Experience in accomplishment of clerical/administrative work; utilizing office automation software (MS Windows, MS Office, including PowerPoint, Word, Access, and Excel).
