This position implements approved process for initiating, developing, issuing monitoring and closing out external Contracts. The CS will contribute to enhancing the success of projects by limiting the overall risks and liability associated with customer negotiations and contract administration, subcontract sourcing, pricing, evaluating, negotiating and obtaining materials, equipment and/or construction services. This position will coordinate the review of client contracts and provides negotiation support when required.   The position interfaces with Procurement, when directed, to provide support for implementing subcontracting.  In addition, the Contract Specialist assists with the development of corporate and supplier strategy.  Responsibilities Perform Contract Management functions for assigned areas, clients or specific TerraPower projects, which may include government contracts, subcontracts, grants, government funding opportunities and commercial opportunities (services agreement, task orders, etc.) Act as TerraPower’s single point of interface with external government and commercial customers’ contracts organizations for assigned projects/phases of contract development and execution.
