Staff Product Designer, Performance Reviews

This is Product Design at Lattice Lattice is a unified people platform - a full Talent Management suite covering performance reviews, engagement surveys, feedback, check-ins, goals, and career and compensation planning. Since 2016, we've grown to support over 5,000 customers globally. We're now building the next generation of our AI-native product suite. A note on what we’re looking for Product design is evolving quickly in an AI-native world. As tools and processes continue to change, we are looking for someone who is extremely comfortable with (and even energized by) ambiguity, and is a demonstrated self-starter. You should push our tech stack, not wait to inherit one yet to be defined.  We’re looking for builders. People who can prototype in code, push pixels in design, and write the doc that aligns the room. What you’ll do Own the end to end user experience for our Performance Reviews product area – a unique opportunity to revolutionize the performance review process for the AI era. Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and Customer stakeholders to define, scope, and execute against solving customer and business needs. Design systems, not features –– understanding how the Performance Reviews product fits into the entire customer journey.  Partner deeply with other product areas to ensure the customer experience is cohesive, not disjointed. Work closely with your engineering team throughout the design and development process, bringing your team along and then ensuring every detail of the design is implemented in a high-quality way. Lead through ambiguity and own the hardest design problems. Champion and evolve our design system, setting the visual, UX, and interaction bar for the team.  What you’ll bring Even if you don’t feel your experience covers everything listed below, we still encourage you to apply! Core design skills 7 to 10+ years designing complex workflows, in particular flows that move across or have impact on multiple products within a suite. Expert-level understanding of visual and interaction design: including typography, hierarchy, spacing, grids, and responsive layouts. Capable of producing novel, high-quality UI and occasionally diverging from standard patterns when it elevates the overall product.
