The Anduril Rocket Motor Systems (ARMS) team is on a mission to build next generation solid rocket motors for a safer, more connected world. As a Test Engineer, you will support Anduril’s solid rocket motor research, development, and manufacturing efforts. This position will support national defense initiatives by performing operations related to the destructive and non-destructive testing of energetic materials, inert materials, and rocket motors. WHAT YOU'LL DO Assisting in the test planning process. Researching and implementing industry standards. Performing materials testing and solid rocket motor testing. Conducting data reduction and analysis. Providing status updates to leadership and customers. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS : Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent degree OR significant experience in data acquisition and sensor integration. Minimum 0-4 years of professional experience. Ability to learn and apply concepts quickly. Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and programming. Strong communication skills. Strong technical writing skills. Ability to work alone and in a team. Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Familiarity with National Instruments DAQ systems and LabVIEW. Experience with load cells, pressure transducers, strain gauges, thermocouples, etc. Experience with solid rocket motors, hybrid rocket motors, or liquid rocket engines. Experience with handling of energetic or hazardous materials. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. US Salary Range $66,000 — $88,000 USD The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
