Attendance is expected and fully supported.</p></div><p>Coinbase is looking for a highly motivated accounting professional to join our Accounting team and play a key role in our continued growth and achievement of operational excellence. The Accounting Manager, Platform will have the opportunity to make meaningful impact on a dynamic, high-growth technology company.</p> <p>Reporting to the Assistant Controller, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for reconciling and analyzing platform data in the company's financial / platform systems. This position requires impeccable attention to detail and a focus on process improvement.</p> <h3><strong>What You'll Be Doing</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Reconcile and analyze ending balances</li> <li>Assist with the launch of new digital assets and products impacting platform accounting operations</li> <li>Ensure that appropriate internal controls over platform accounting are in place</li> <li>Operationalize new areas of the business to facilitate streamlined accounting transactions</li> <li>With major system experience, recognize the links upstream/downstream and verbalize the impacts & reliance in connection with changes or enhancements</li> <li>Provide project requirements and coordinate, manage and oversee any testing to improve existing processes and automate any related systems</li> <li>Provide support for internal and external audits</li> </ul> <h3><strong>What We Look For In You</strong></h3> <ul> <li>9+ years of progressive accounting experience with a mix of Big 4 public accounting and industry experience in the fintech/financial services industries</li> <li>Minimum 2 years of experience in a manager role.</li> <li>Financial services industry experience such as fintech, payments and/or broker dealers</li> <li>B.A. or B.S degree in Accounting, Finance or related field</li> <li>A demonstrated history of solving multiple and complex operation and accounting challenges</li> <li>Desire to exceed expectations and drive positive change in the organization</li> <li>Operational processes experience</li> <li>Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to manipulate and digest mass amounts of data required</li> <li>Individual should work well in a dynamic environment and
