Manager of Corporate Accounting

About the job Role Summary:  The Manager, Corporate Accounting is responsible for managing general ledger operations, revenue and vendor accrual processes, and SOX compliance to ensure financial accuracy, audit readiness, and operational scalability. This role leads month-end close execution, strengthens accounting controls, and drives process improvements while serving as a primary escalation point within Corporate Accounting. The position reports to the Director of Corporate Accounting and supports enterprise-level financial integrity. Responsibilities  Own the end-to-end general ledger close process for assigned areas, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely execution. Review and approve journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations, maintaining high standards of technical accounting accuracy and documentation. Oversee revenue and vendor accrual processes, ensuring proper cutoff, completeness, and alignment with company policies. Ensure accounting policies and close procedures are documented, maintained, and updated as processes evolve. Lead SOX compliance efforts for assigned processes, ensuring controls operate effectively and documentation supports audit readiness. Identify, assess, and escalate accounting risks and control gaps, recommending corrective actions where necessary. Partner cross-functionally with internal teams and external auditors to ensure accurate reporting and operational alignment. Key Competencies  Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting principles. Expertise in month-end close processes and accrual accounting.
